Considering Duve? Read this first.

Duve is a competent, generic guest-experience platform. We were Duve customers ourselves. We left because for our specific stack — Lodgify + 2N Access Commander + LG Procentric — Duve was a UI sitting on top, not an integration layer. PMS Logic is what we built instead. Here's the honest comparison.

The real differences

Where the answer is genuinely different.

Difference 1

We talk to your access hardware.

Duve runs on top of your booking platform — useful for guest UX, but agnostic about the rest of your stack. If you've invested in 2N Access Commander for your gate and doors, Duve doesn't know it exists. We do. We provision per-booking guest credentials, sync access windows with check-in/-out times, and revoke them when bookings change.

Difference 2

Guests see your villa, not us.

The guest portal lives at welcome.your-villa.com. Your name in the header, your colour, your logo on the home-screen icon when they "Add to home screen". PMS Logic appears nowhere in the guest experience. Duve allows customisation but stays present.

Difference 3

ID verification that actually verifies.

Most guest-experience tools accept whatever the guest uploads — we've personally seen a photo of someone's foot pass as ID. We process every upload server-side: BSN auto-redacted, branded watermark, encrypted at rest, auto-deleted within seven days of check-out. GDPR-aligned by default.

Built by hosts, for hosts.

We run Villa Savannah. We were Duve customers. We left because the product wasn't deep enough for our stack — not because Duve is bad, but because it tries to fit everyone. PMS Logic is opinionated about vacation rentals running Lodgify + 2N + LG. If that's not your stack, Duve is probably the right answer.

Honest disclosure

Where Duve is genuinely the better choice.

We're going to be straight about this, because pretending otherwise insults you.

If any of these are true, Duve is probably the right call:

You run hotels (not vacation rentals) at scale — their hospitality features run deeper than ours.
You need a marketplace upsell engine yesterday — we're building that, they ship it now.
You operate in 10+ languages — their language coverage is broader.
You want a polished sales process, demo videos, dedicated CSM — that's a real advantage for some teams, and we won't pretend to offer it.
You don't use 2N Access Commander or LG Procentric — our biggest differentiators don't apply.

We'd rather you pick the right tool than feel pressured into ours.
